HOW IT WORKS?

From your journey to something you can hold.

Every ALTIREYA begins with a place.

It can be a mountain you climbed, a trail you completed, a route you cycled, a race you finished or simply a landscape that means something to you.

We take that place — and, if you want, your own GPS route — and transform it into a physical 3D landscape created specifically for your story.

From coordinates to contours. From data to form.

01  CHOOSE YOUR LANDSCAPE

Start by choosing the place you want to bring to life.

It can be a specific mountain, mountain range, hiking area, valley or another landscape that has meaning to you.

You don't have to know the exact geographical boundaries needed for the model. Simply tell us which place you have in mind, and we can determine how the surrounding terrain can best be represented.

Every location is different, so the final composition is adapted to the geography of the selected area.

02  CHOOSE YOUR ALTIREYA

Next, choose how you want your landscape to be presented.

Classic
The purest form of ALTIREYA. A freestanding 3D terrain model designed to put the landscape itself at the center.

Framed
Your terrain mounted inside a minimalist frame, turning the landscape into a piece designed for your wall, shelf or workspace.

Available frame sizes: 10 × 15 cm, 15 × 20 cm and 20 × 20 cm. The terrain itself is scaled individually to fit the selected format.

Wooden Box
A compact landscape placed inside a natural wooden box, designed to be opened, discovered and kept.

Wooden Box sizes are limited and should be discussed before ordering. For reference, the model shown on our website uses a box measuring approximately 10 × 10 × 6 cm.

03  MAKE IT YOURS

This is where your ALTIREYA can become truly personal.

If you have recorded your adventure using a GPS watch, smartphone, Strava, Garmin, Komoot or another compatible service, you may already have a GPX file.

A GPX file contains the geographical coordinates of your recorded route.

Send us your file and, where technically possible, we can use it to incorporate your actual route into the landscape.

That means the line crossing the mountain isn't simply decorative.

It can be the exact route you travelled.

A hiking trail. A summit attempt. A cycling route. A running course. A memorable road trip or another GPS-recorded journey can become part of the design.

04  HAVE SOMETHING DIFFERENT IN MIND?

05  FROM COORDINATES TO CONTOURS

Once the location and route are defined, the digital work begins.

We use geographical elevation data to reconstruct the shape of the selected landscape in three dimensions.

Mountains rise from a flat digital map. Valleys gain depth. Ridgelines begin to appear.

If a GPX route is included, its coordinates are aligned with the terrain so that the route follows the actual landscape.

The model is then prepared specifically for the selected ALTIREYA format.

This is where raw geographical data becomes a design ready to exist in the physical world.

06  DESIGNED FOR YOUR FORMAT

Every landscape has different proportions.

Some areas are long and narrow. Others are almost square. Some contain dramatic elevation differences, while others rely on smaller details to define their character.

For this reason, we don't simply stretch every landscape to the same dimensions.

The terrain is individually scaled, positioned and prepared according to the selected product and available space while preserving the recognizable characteristics of the original location as much as possible.

The product adapts to the landscape not the other way around.

07  LAYER BY LAYER

Once the digital model is ready, your landscape begins its transformation into a physical object.

Using 3D printing technology, the terrain is created layer by layer.

Slowly, the flat digital data becomes mountains, ridges and valleys you can actually touch.

The subtle layers visible across the finished surface are a natural part of the manufacturing process. In many ways, they resemble the contour lines of a traditional topographic map except now those contours have become real elevation.

08  FINISHING YOUR ALTIREYA

After printing, the model is prepared according to the product you selected.

A Classic remains focused on the terrain itself.

A Framed model is positioned and mounted within its selected frame.

A Wooden Box terrain is individually adapted and placed inside its box.

Because every ALTIREYA represents a different landscape and may include a completely unique route, small differences between pieces are natural.

That individuality is part of the idea.

09  YOUR JOURNEY BECOMES PHYSICAL

What started as coordinates on a map is now something you can hold.

Put it on your desk.

Display it on a shelf.

Hang it on your wall.

Give it to someone who was there with you.

Or keep it as a reminder of a place you never want to forget.
